Before class:

Listen to an English song. 《Merry Christmas!》

Step 1. Greetings.

      T and Ss greet each other.

Step 2. Free talk.

     T: Is there a TV in the classroom?

       What's in your bedroom?

        I can … What can you do?

        Do you like…? / What do you like?

        What are you doing? / What is he/she doing?

        What do you/they have? / What does he/she have?

     Ss listen to the teacher carefully, then answer the questions.

Step 3. Presentation.

1.     多媒体出示圣诞节画面。

 (1)T:Boys and girls, you know Christmas is coming. I’m very happy. Look, I’ve got some presents from my friends.(捧出礼物，出示贺卡) It’s a Christmas card. What shape is it? (板书)

Teach: shape , shapes, rectangle 以及句型What shape is the …? It’s a … .

(2)T: You know every thing has its shape.(揭题)

     shape --- what shape --- What shape is the card?

  (在师的帮助下) 长方形          angle  It’s a rectangle.

  It’s a rectangle card.

  Ss: (Read the new words some times)

2.     课件出示圣诞树。

(1)T:(师指着树干)Look at the Christmas tree. What shape is it?

长方形          angle  It’s a rectangle.

(2)T:(接着指着树枝)And look, what shape is it? It’s a triangle.

    (出示三角形)       angle  It’s a triangle.
